[Description]
A longtime Spanish DJ who recently relocated to London, Blastto will close out Heka Trax’s free summer EP series with his Windows/Point Aeri outing. Launched in July with an EP from Lee Carvallo, the series from the Nightwave-helmed label has aimed to introduce up-and-coming artists within the producer’s circle by offering small helpings of their work. Though he’s spent the better part of a decade behind the tables, Blastto is somewhat new to production, though one may not necessarily glean that from a listen to “Windows,” his new EP’s lead track. A weighted club affair, “Windows” focuses on its rhythmic content, splicing brief vocal samples and sharp synth stabs between its array of bulbous kicks, crunchy snares, and fast-paced hats. Out now, Blastto’s Windows/Point Aeri EP can be streamed in full after the jump, and grabbed for free here.

Uno no se puede fiar de Blastto, así de rotundo. Si uno habla con el le parece un tío simpático. Piensas 'que majo este tío, es un poco callado pero es mejor que el típico comeorejas'. Sueltas alguna parida, vais a por algo de beber y todo parece una velada normal… Hasta que se sube a la cabina. Entonces entiendes que no es que Blastto sea callado, lo que ocurre es que esta planeando la mejor forma de sacarle las tripas por la boca al personal a golpe de bajos. Pero entonces ya es demasiado tarde. Ya has caído en la trampa y puedes decirle adiós a tu sistema gástrico. Porque Blastto es un ninja, un ninja manchego silencioso pero mortal.
Solo tienes que escuchar el último PODCAST SUDANDO GRAVES a manos de nuestro ninja favorito para entender de lo que hablamos. Empieza con puro fuego, para que te regales blandiendo el sable (atiende a la remezcla de Joan Reyes). Entonces te confías y te dejas llevar por el ritmo tropical y se te van las caderas. Y cuando menos te lo esperas ZASKA! Notas un golpe en el pecho como una patada voladora y ya no hay vuelta atrás. Te ves envuelto en un combate de Dubstep vs Drumstep que te enroca el estomago con el hígado y te llena la boca de ese sabor metálico que solo puede ser sangre.
